The Decarbonisation India Alliance (DIA), initiated by Society of Energy Engineers and Managers (SEEM), is an ambitious action-oriented project aimed at accelerating the transition towards a low-carbon and sustainable future for India. It is a platform that champions engineers who are at the frontline of implementing change in industries that will need to decarbonise as well as those who can create products and services that will catalyse this decarbonisation. It builds platforms that enable stakeholders involved in implementing and shaping energy solutions to collaborate and achieve real world outcomes. The alliance seeks to foster innovation, share best practices, and align efforts to address barriers hindering decarbonisation.
Our Mission
DIA is working to build a distinct network comprising of public sector entities, industry associations, facilities, manufacturers, academic institutions, financial institutions, civil society organizations, among others, to catalyse real world implementation.
Our Objectives
Accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy by promoting the adoption of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, cleaner technologies, electrical safety, and other sustainable practices and technologies.
Facilitate capacity building, knowledge transfer and research to enable effective implementation of decarbonisation strategies.
Serve as a common platform for businesses and service providers across diverse regional geographies to adopt energy efficient technologies and low-carbon production processes.
Contribute to an effective regulatory and policy regime that incentivizes pathways for decarbonisation while ensuring justice, equity and inclusion.

Society of Energy Engineers and Managers (SEEM) India is the national professional body of Certified Energy Managers, Auditors and energy professionals in the country launched in 2005 and registered under the Charitable Societies Act 1955. SEEM is a non-government/not-for-profit organization with 15 chapters and 7 centres, spread over 22 states and engaged in delivering networking and skill development opportunities to its members, by organizing training programs, workshops, etc.

Asar Social Impact Advisors works on social and environmental issues by conducting research, ground truthing, and understanding local contexts in order to build innovative strategies that are rooted in reality. Established in 2018, The India Blockchain Alliance (IBA) is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes evidence-based adoption of Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) across the public and private sectors. The India Blockchain Alliance was established with the purpose of mutual assistance in the field of business development, networking, cooperation and a joint approach to defending the interests of the members of the alliance. It also seeks to raise awareness of the importance of blockchain technology among the professional and lay public, and, therefore, organizes various events and training courses. It also cooperates with the government authorities in the field of the relevant legislation.
